1. Check the ports on the rear of the printer and your computer and see which type of cable is required to make a connection.
2. Attach the cable to your printer and your computer.
3. Turn on your printer.
4. Go to the control panel and click on devices and printers option.
5. Click on add a printer.
6. Select add a local printer if your printer is connected via cable.
